1 Source file
Your existing listing data (CSV, XML, TXT, XLSX/XLSM). Amazon exports auto-parse — empty columns stripped.
Split into files of
rows
Optional: stock file — real stock levels, matched by SKU. Amazon: Reports → Fulfilment → Inventory → Manage FBA Inventory (.txt). Any other export works too (Seller Republic listings CSV, a plain SKU + quantity sheet) — the SKU and quantity columns are detected automatically. Without it, a row with no stock figure gets the Default quantity from Listing defaults — leave that blank and such rows are held back instead.
2 Additional info
Tell the AI how to map / expand. e.g. "Target is eBay UK. GBP pricing inc VAT, expand bullets into description, keep SKUs."
3 Target template
The empty target marketplace file with its headers (CSV, XML, TXT, XLSX/XLSM). Gemini fills this.
Applied only to rows whose source has no image at all. Use an image you own and host — eBay requires rights to every picture, and rejects images that misrepresent the item, so swap these out after upload.
4 Listing defaults — applied to every row (postage, returns, offers)
Written by code, identically on every row — never guessed by the AI. Leave a field blank and that column is blank everywhere.
Judged on the item specifics eBay requires for the template's category: a product whose value falls outside eBay's own recommended list (a box mod has no herbal “Formulation”) does not belong here and is left out, named in the Excluded panel. Everything else stays in the file — rows missing stock, price, an image or a required specific are listed in Check before upload for you to verify.
How do I find my Category ID?
- On eBay, search for a product like yours and open a listing categorised the way you want.
- Scroll to the breadcrumb trail near the top of the listing.
- Click the last item in that trail — the most specific one.
- The number in the address bar is your Category ID:
ebay.co.uk/b/<category-name>/123456/bn_1234567
The bold number is the ID. - It must be the final sub-category. A top-level one (like Health & Beauty) is rejected with “the category selected is not a leaf category” and every row fails.
One ID applies to the whole run. If your catalogue spans different departments, use
Split file in box 1 to run each product group with its own ID — or leave this blank and fill
the Category ID column in the finished file.
Filled target file
eBay File Exchange only accepts CSV — use the CSV button. XLSX is for checking the result in Excel. Format, Condition, Duration, Category, Location and the Shipping/Return/Payment profile names are all filled from Listing defaults; a Category name column, if your template has one, is left for you (green in the XLSX).
⚖ Compliance & legality pre-check
AI-generated pre-check, not legal advice. Verify against official marketplace policy and current UK/local regulations before listing.
Check before upload —
These products are IN your file. eBay will reject a row that is missing a quantity, a price or a photo, so fix or remove them yourself — nothing has been deleted for you.

Where to get your files — download & upload steps
Amazon — your SOURCE file (box 1)
Your existing Amazon listings, exported with all their data. The tool reads the .xlsm directly and strips the empty columns — no conversion needed.
⬇ Download
- Reports → Inventory Reports → choose "Category Listings Report" from the report dropdown.
- Request the report, download it, and drop it straight into box 1.
Amazon — your FBA INVENTORY file (box 1, optional)
Adds real stock numbers. The Category Listings Report does NOT contain FBA quantities, so without this file a listing only gets the Default quantity you set in Listing defaults (blank default = held back). Tab-separated .txt — upload it as-is, no conversion.
⬇ Download
- Reports → Fulfilment (Fulfillment) → Inventory → "Manage FBA Inventory" / "Amazon Fulfilled Inventory".
- Request the report, download the .txt, and drop it into the smaller FBA box under box 1.
- Any file with a SKU column and a quantity column works: Amazon FBA .txt (afn-fulfillable-quantity), a Seller Republic listings export (QTY), or a plain SKU + quantity sheet. Columns are detected automatically and matched to your source by SKU.
- Optional: set "Copy which listings" to "In stock only" to skip anything with zero FBA stock.
eBay — your TARGET template (box 3)
The empty eBay file the tool fills. Download and upload both live on the Seller Hub Uploads page. Keep the first *Action header row exactly as eBay supplies it.
⬇ Download
- In Seller Hub go to Reports → Uploads, then click Get template (or the legacy template page — may differ).
- Choose Source: Listings → Type: Create new listings → CSV, then tick your leaf category in the picker — that download carries the category's required item specifics (Brand etc.), which eBay rejects listings without. Drop the file into box 3 exactly as downloaded — the Info rows and odd line endings are handled. Avoid the basic (no item specifics) template: it fails in most categories now.
⬆ Upload
- After the tool fills it: back on Reports → Uploads, click Upload template and select your filled CSV.
- It appears in the list below — click Download results to confirm success or see which rows failed.
Lazada
Southeast Asia marketplace (MY, SG, ID, PH, TH, VN), not UK. Each category has its own template — use the Category Tree file to get the category ID. Brand must already exist in Lazada's library; image URLs must be hosted (upload to Lazada Media Center).
⬇ Download
- Products → Bulk Add/Edit Products.
- Tick your product category → Download Template. Also grab the Category Tree file to look up category ID numbers.
⬆ Upload
- Same page → Upload File → select your filled template → Submit.
- Check the Import History tab: green tick = success; X = failed → Download Error Report, fix those rows and re-upload. Sync takes ~2–48 hours.
